Following the success of our Mk I Handler, over 15 years, with more than 500 machines throughout Britain, we now introduce the Mk II.

The Mk II has a Vari Width Full Access Crush and now has 8 nine-foot gates all hung on the crush. No lifting, with each set of four gates concertinaing together in transport.

  • This fully integrated Mobile Handling System can be easily operated by one person without any lifting. From transport to working within minutes. Twin Hydraulic rams raise and lower the machine. (Hand pump available if no tractor)

  • There are 8 nine-foot heavy-duty gates hinged on the machine. This makes a pen to hold 25/30 adult cattle or 30/35 yearlings. Additional cattle hurdles can be carried in the machine

  • The Race is 20 feet long. There is a full handling crush in the front with either a manual or automatic headgate

    • The gates concertina for transport. Two castor wheels on each set of 4 gates allow the gates to be rolled out to form the pen.  An adjustable leg on each gate allows for uneven ground and gives the pen stability
    • Two operator access gates and a sliding door assist in the control of animals through the machine

    • A weigh platform is available which fits in the rear portion of the race

    • Foot trimming equipment including foot blocks, winches etc. are available

    • All mobile handlers are fitted with a Vari Width Full Access Crush as standard (see below)

Crush in Narrow Position

    • Variable width. The doors have a number of positions internally, adjustable in seconds, reducing the width of the crush to cater for all sizes of animals. This stops those yearlings from turning and puts the head in the centre of the yoke

    • Four pressed steel doors on each side of the crush allow complete access to all parts of the animal and if an animal goes down, the doors open outwards allowing the animal to rise with ease

CATTLE CRUSH
All Crushes are adjustable in width from Adult Cattle to Yearlings to Calves

 

  • A heavy duty fully galvanised cattle crush with the latest
    head yoke fully adjustable for large and small animals.

  • Four pressed steel doors on each side of the crush allow
    complete access with no vertical or horizontal bars.

  • All doors open fully outwards for clipping and if an animal
    goes down during calving it can rise with ease.

 
  • Variable width. The doors have a number of positions internally. Adjustable in seconds reducing the width of the crush to cater for all sizes of animals.  This stops yearlings from turning in the crush and puts the head in the centre of the yoke.

  • Available as an option is an up and over rump bar pivoted from the top frame. This holds the animal forward instead of the back pole which comes with the crush as standard.

  • A calf head restraint is available, as are a full set of foot trimming winches and foot blocks.

 

  • The crush is also available with slam door rear access doors
    and/or sliding door    .

  • A complete range of ancillary hurdles, gates etc allows a full
    handling system to be built.
Swingarm Superscoop
Designed to immobilize the animal's head
side to side movement. The rubber lined scoop
dramatically reduces the available movement
of the animal's head.
 
It helps reduce the desire to move backwards
and to kick out.
 
It fits onto all our crushes using a special
bracket.
Weigh Platform
Can be used inside cattle crush, outside in a race
or against an existing wall or fence.
 
Made from non-slip 6mm aluminium treadplate, it is
easily handled and transported.
 
Normal size: 8ft x 30in, but can be made any size
to order.

Crush transported on 3 point linkage or fork lift from all four sides. Operators platform folds up in transport

Animal is secured by easy to operate head yoke with chain or winch at the rear.
Two belt bands with independent winches hold the animal to the side of the crush before turning

The crush is rolled over by either the tractor hydraulics with a two-way valve on the crush or by an electro-hydraulic motor. In both cases the operator has full view of animal whilst turning

Finally the animal’s feet are secured to the sides of the crush on drop down brackets (not shown in picture) by quick release ropes and toggles
